From November 29th 2019 to May 29th* 2020 “HOY ÑOQUIS” was arranged in relation to æKjøkken. First one was with the kitchen under construction, and just by invitation. 15 guests arrived directly from Spain, and were just architects that work in diverse stages of the Munch Museum at estudio Herreros, many of them meeting for the first time there.
March 29th was a gathering online with participants in Italy, Spain, Uruguay, Argentina and Norway, all making gnocchi in unison.
Exploring social distance, on April 29th “HOY ÑOQUIS” was arranged with closed doors, and more as a food service for workers of the construction site where the kitchen is located, as it was not possible to gather in any way. Thus, workers ate divided in several barracks, and it was such a weird experience.
*Due to COVID-19 we have anticipated the closure of antipodes café House, and let’s celebrate it with one special edition of “Hoy Ñoquis” at Sofienbergparken, right outside æKjøkken.
Gnocchi will be served on a take away modality, and GRATIS as usual.
Following recommendations by health authorities, please keep physical distance with others, both while collecting and while eating in the park, and please dispose paper dishes and wooden forks in trash bins.
And do not feed birds with gnocchi or they become combat aircrafts!
Gnocchi includes flour, potatoes, salt and perhaps egg. Will be served with butter and cheese. Nothing fancy but you are welcome to bring your sauce and bread or whatever you like for your dish… if you bring something for dessert please let us know 😉

We will continue with HOY ÑOQUIS, but in other contexts. Stay tuned.
