Directive nº1.1

Updated directive directly painted with glitter and white ink for fabric over a “rainbow” tote bag.

June around, rain and sun… 60-something-years ago, a directive was painted on a white canvas; we got it.
Yesterday, we printed the third variant of our détourned version — this time, with no purposeful fautes d’orthographe, mon amour.

Each version exposes our weakness while wrestling with our main reference — but also with the meaning, the appropriation, the gesture, the academia, the devalued imperial tongue, our southern openness, and … a lot to carry.

Anyway, they’re here now — available for anyone proud enough to realize philosophy, put the shoulder and bear forth a few boxes of French wine from the back of their closet.
